Bit Tornado didn't allow me to download jack shit, so what do i do. I uninstalled azureus

yeah stick with 2.5.x.x or like he said use µtorrent
uTorrent just goes inactive on downloads after awhile, and they never start up again.
Good downloads too, with 1000s of seeders.

In utorrent what's the bottom of the client have? the little check circle thingy? ie are your ports forwarded succesfully?
