I'm a Unitarian, so I have no idea if anyone besides the Catholics celebrate Easter. But my dad's side of the family is Catholic, so we still do something out of tradition. You guys do anything today? I went to church and ate an early ham dinner with my family. Soon there will be gobs and gobs of strawberry shortcake. ^__^

I gotta deal with some family bullshit today. Should be the last time I ever see these idiots, however.

And I think it's all Christians that celebrate the Resurrection.

I think we're going out to eat later. Easter's never really been a big deal with my family.

I didn't even realize it was easter until this topic.

Today is free money day for me. All the little kiddies get handed a basket of easter goodies and go out and find eggs. I get handed a card with an amount of money inside. I got 35 bucks today which was pretty sweet.

I celebrate the 4 day weekend and chocolate.

Went to my grandmas. Drank so much wine I ended up passed out on her bed. Now I sit here, with a hangover.

I had to work.

But easter? Zombie Jesus Day? The Pagan celebration of fertility? Weird.

I did yard labor for moneys and got robbed by ticketmaster on a modest mouse ticket in vancouver bc.

I really need to find someone to go with me to the show in NY at the end of the month. I doubt I will though. How much was your ticket?

When I lived at home and I was young enough to still be coerced by my parents, we'd wake up and do easter baskets, then go to church with some flowers to stick in a wireframe cross, then come back and dye eggs and hide them in the yard. We've got a pretty big yard, so this could take a while. Then we'd have a nice dinner in the dining room with the nice china.

Once I got old enough for my parents to respect my atheism, I slept in until everyone got back from church, then we did easter baskets and everything else, which was just fine with me.

Now, I do absolutely nothing, except get candy in the mail from my mom. Yaay.

Well there were no general floor admission tickets (MOTHERFUCKER) so I bought the most expensive otherwise one, in hopes that it'd get me closer to the floor. I'm pretty sure I can convince canadians to let someone else have my seat and let me get onto the floor, worst comes to worst. They were like $35 (IF I WASN'T USING TICKETMASTER), then the stupid fucking ridiculous charges made it come out to $47. Fuck ticketmaster. The most I've ever spent on a concert ticket has been less than $20 up until this point, so it hurts even more. I'm used to liking less popular bands, I guess.

I wish I could fucking go.

As for Easter, we did absolutely nothing. Usually, my mother did something with the easter basket thing, but I don't live with her this year, so...yeah. It was just a normal day, except Nate got home from work early.

Today, he gave me 5 bucks and I got to go to Walgreens and blow it on Easter shit that was 50% off. That was pretty rad.
