Madhouse, the company responsible for Death Note, Trigun, and Ninja Scroll (among others) has announced they're doing a Devil May Cry anime. It might be awesome. If there's any company that could do it, it's probably Madhouse.

They're also doing a Claymore anime, which is like the best manga ever.

Long as they dont screw up the dub
Shinigami Grahf
Fucking dubbie.

Anyway, going by the teasers they're most likely covering a DMC3-era plot, if not a DMC3 adaption itself.

I usually never like Dubs, but I like the english Daunte's voice

IIRC, there's only ever been an English Dante voice. All the DMC games in Japan were in English with Japanese subtitles.

The anime will probably be the only time Dante has gotten a Japanese voice.

Video promo of the art of the anime. Hopefully they do keep the awesome, awesome music. The anime was announced sometime last year, so sorry for sounding old.

I got the first ep today and the animation is sexy

I'm not sure I can handle a Japanese Dante though.
Shinigami Grahf
JP Dante's voice is great.

Well, I know the VA for great roles BESIDES AC Sephiroth, so he's fine for me.
Codeman
Love the animation, but hate the dialoge with a passion. It has no Dante flare/sarcasm, at all.
ErrorZero
Far too boring for me. I expected more action.
Sol
Yeah, the first two episodes so far have been average. Well, they would be considered good if they show was named anything else aside from Devil May Cry.
Shinigami Grahf
People have gotten a lot more used to DMC3's loudmouth Dante, compared to his more stoic DMC1 self.

This is obviously post-DMC1, so I'm not too surprised. He's still fun. It's sort of slow, but I'm enjoying it.
Sol
It's not Dante that's the problem, it's the fact that the action is subpar by DMC standards.
Usurper
DMC's actions scenes will fail in anything besides a video game.
