I had absolutely no idea until I read the back of this one bottle. I talked to my guy friends and they said they just found out recently too...plus I haven't made a topic in awhile or really posted...so yeah.

Me too, pretty much exactly in that order. I shave before I shampoo.

I rarely use conditioner because I'm always in a rush, but when I do I'll put it in my hair and then do something else like wash my face for two minutes or so.

I knew that but I don't use conditioner so it doesn't matter. I do leave shampoo in my hair while I lather myself up.

I do that when I use a nicer conditioner, but if it's just something bought at the grocery or drug store then I put it in, run it through my hair, and rinse it out.

Wouldn't you end up just wasting money then? Not only is it cheap shit you're not even giving it any time to get to work

I've found that with cheap conditioners, it doesn't really make a difference how much time I leave it in. The result is fine for my every-other-day hair washing. Get me some K-pak, though, and I will leave it in for at least 5 - 10 minutes.

Gross.

The only difference between if I wash it or I don't is that if I wash it, it kinda frizzes up and shit. If I don't, it just sits there. Either way, it's not like, dirty or something. I don't have particularly oily hair or anything.

Treat it as conditioner only. It doesn't matter if you let shampoo sit a few minutes, it won't have enough time to dry in place/will get washed away just fine when rincing.

cheap store bought (Suave) shampoo and conditioner is essentially soap. Or at least it has the same effect in your hair. Mine is nice and fluffy and soft.

I have shampoo with conditioner in it, and I usually leave it in for as long as it takes me to wash my body. Depending on if I'm in a rush or not, it could be anywhere from 10 mins to 3 mins.
