Goddamnit!

So, twenty-three days ago I tried to do a kick on a wet mat, slipped, fell on my knee, and presumably ruptured my bursa sac.

Up until yesterday, it has been pretty painful to squat down at all, for any amount of time. A sensation of burning would spread all throughout my knee and last a minute or so. I tried to avoid doing so as much as I could. I would stay off my feet as much as I could but that wasn't really an option because I stand all day at work.

Monday it was feeling pretty good. Not 100% but I found myself able to squat without too much pain at all. It was even better yesterday so I figured I'd go back to class.

Ow, not so great an idea. After the warm ups we get to sparring and the very first thing that happens is I check a kick my bad knee. The burning feeling spreads but it didn't want to go away. I tried not to but I ended up checking a few more kicks and taking one or two to that knee. That didn't make the pain any worse but, you know.

Right now it's not hurting but it does feel off. A little stiff and swollen. I'm able to walk on it fine.

I don't want to stop training again but I'm worried about what damaging my knee more might do. I waited nearly a month and it's still not better? Bah. I don't have medical insurance or money to spare so doctors are kinda out. Anyone have any help on what I can do, and if it's to stop, how long that'll take?
