I'm just being a prick. They are fairly popular and I think Pumpkin is right. You can just pick any album and hear their whole sound. I for one believe their newest record is their strongest output but...whatever.

They're good as background music. I like to listen to them when I write papers, it sorta puts me in a creative mood.

I listen to them on my ipod to help me fall asleep. Good songs, but same sounds like others have said.

As far as the actual band goes, I like them somewhat, but most of the time I'm listening to music, I'm not really in the mood for listening to like. . . ambiancy, as it were. It's good chilling out music I guess, but I don't do a whole lot of chilling out.

The name is pretty fucking cool. Come on dude, you listen to bands named The Angry Samoans. That is, at most, equally stupid. I'm seeing 'em too, but I don't remember when.

Well, in a sense. It feels like they are attempting to be poetic, but it comes out sounding lame. I mean, I like My Bloody Valentine, but I think that name is lame too.

Actually, I often have no trouble finding something lame about a band's name, especially if it's trying to be "poetic", but that doesn't seem to be the case with their name because it's pretty straightforward. The only thing that could have been simpler would be to name the band "Fireworks" or "Missiles" and that would suck.

Yea, i'm seeing them sometime in early May. Probably one of my favorite bands, and defeinetely one of the best i've seen live. They can seem a little boring and over-the-top sometimes if I don't listen to them stoned, but I still love them regardless.

Man, it's more like a fact that that's a lame band name, though.

I understand seeing it as a pathetic attempt at being artsy, too... I think it fits, and is simple enough, though.
