Well, absolutely nothing happened in episode 16... looks like it will be at least one episode, maybe two before the real fighting starts again.

Cynical and dramatic as always

It's going a bit slow for my liking, but so much awesome stuff is coming up and the animation has been great so I'm really looking forward to it. It's a lot easier to bear the pace if you've already read the manga.

This started out promising enough, but man is it moving slow...like DBZ slow.

I think that's a little harsh.

It's going waaaay to slow for my comfort. But I guess it's necessary so we don't get suck with another year of complete fillers.

After the latest set of manga chapters, especially this most recent one, Deidara is officially one of the most badass characters in the series.

I don't get why the anime is slowing down when the manga is sprinting

I guess they absolutely don't want to do any more filler episodes. It's possible that even though the manga feels fast that Kishi has a lot more to cover.

Shippuden is just ridiculously slow now, and this constant skipping a week crap doesn't help.

It is taking weeks for what the manga did in like a chapter. This is just stupid. If this show doesn't get better by the time Sasuke is reintroduced, I may drop it entirely in favor of the manga.

But the manga is excellent, Deidara is having a great fight.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the week skipping, they should at least show an hour show if they do it.
