That's not so much an upgrade as it is an epiphany

Excellent upgrade, but I'm hesitant towards Vista. It has some nice features but lots of stuff I don't like too.

It's being shipped as we speak, or rather, waiting in line to be built. I don't have the patience or time to build it myself, even if I do save a hundred dollars. November 30th is the build date, and it'll be shipped off after that.

That is night and day in comparison. I'm not sure how you were able to stand using your previous system. Once you get your hands on the new one you will be amazed.

Media Center . . .=-/
But hot diggity damn man; I'd have a fresh pair of pants/boxers nearby when you first use your new system.

Very nice setup. Video card is gonna lag in newer games, and you might wanna upgrade along with Vista for DX10 support. Good stuff.

Very nice. The only lacking part is a video card, but at this point it's probably smart to get a cheap one until DirectX 10 comes out and good videocards that support it come out.
I would give the current rig an 8/10. Once/if you get a new videocard, it will be a 9/10.
