Got to a Toys R US at 4:20, around 20 people ahead of me. By 5, around 30 in back of me. I snagged the last Wiimote, but no Wiis there. Said they were supposed to get a shipment.
Went to the Gamestop at 5:50, around 20 people in front of me. They said they only have 6 Wiis, so alot of people just gave up and left. One of my friends got the last Wii. He had brought a sleeping bag, but I didn't ask him how long he'd been there.
So I went to the EBGames at 6:30 where I know they weren't getting any. There were 5 people in line for something I new wasn't there, so I said they're weren't any. They didn't believe me until a worker came and said so. They still weren't leaving. Then I wen't back to the Gamestop because I dropped a glove in the parking lot and had to get it back. The line at Gamestop had doubled in since in about 20 minutes.
So I got back to EB when they opened, and people were just mulling around, seeing if they was a Wii or PS3 there. A few bought a 360 instead when they came for a PS3. I decided to sit and watch while playing the Wii kiosk. At 8, when everyone left, I asked them when they think they could get a shipment. They said they didn't know, but they think they will be at least be getting 1 small shipment over the weekend, or possibly today. The guy working there said to me (because I'm such a well respected customer) that if they had only one Wii, he would of told the original group of people that they didn't have any, and given it to me. And that's why its good to know the people working there, because he also gave me one of the Reggie shirts.
Currently, I just have one remote and Zelda, mocking me. I may go over to my friend's and play there.
