This isn't a question about mood--it's not about whether things are going well for you right now or not. Rather, on the whole--taking your whole life into account--would you say that you are a happy person?

I would have said no a week ago, but stuff seems to be getting better. I don't know if I can say I'm 100% happy, but I'm pretty close, I think, so I took a chance and went with yes.

I guess I'm happy, yeah. Some shitty things have happened but overall I'm happy with what's gone on in my life.

Your life is automatically happy because you get to talk to me nearly every day.

I am not happy. I would say I was dealt a decent hand, and I've had a better life overall than most people, but I'm very much not happy.

No, life has been incredibly messed up lately. Serious relationship ended due to cancer on her part (died), my dad had to leave, 3 family members died, I have been noted as "Legally Insane" by the state, my best friend tried to kill me and I shot him, I had a pregnancy scare and a std scare. My mother and I are at each others throats.

My 16 year old birthday enrupted in a fistfight. I go 3-4 days without sleeping maybe 2 or so without eating. I am a heavy alcoholic and drug user.

I'm as happy as I could be based on circumstances I suppose. I've got a very happy marriage and two amazing best friends, one in particular (Stephanie) who has been outstanding to me this past year.

My job situation is frustrating me because I know I have the potential and talent to do something that matters, but I keep getting held back. I hope it changes soon.

I demand tribute in the form of bethrothal to this Stephanie. Thank you.

I'm as happy as I could be, because if I could be any happier I would. Every day (that I don't waste on laziness) is an attempt to pull ahead, I don't really have the time to think on whether things suck or are going alright. I was given a lot to work with, and have had stability for most of my life, but things need to change.

I am content. Our roof is fixed and my mother says if the roofer tries to hug and kiss me again I can knee him in the bollocks. That cheers me.

I'm a little nervous about starting my newly transfered job on Sunday but other than that I'm great. Excited about being home, back in Connecticut, and about the holidays coming up soon.

Other than that, I guess everything is fine. I would like to actualy be in a steady relationship though Tthe only one interested in me is a strict christian who would want me to change my views on that to match hers if we get serious, and lol, that's not happening.

Sort of, is my answer. I don't especially want to go into the whole situation of my life right now - as it is late, and sleep calls, but I do think that compared to how I was a few years ago, I am most certainly getting there . However, where I'll be (with luck!) in about eight years' time is, again, completely different, and very, very tantalising. I have good days, and I have bad days - who doesn't - and my answer changes accordingly.

I did, however, vote yes.
