EDIT: O.M.G. Bleach 118. Just, omg, yes! Hands down favorite episode. DAMN!!!! Sooo good!!!! If this was the end of the arc I would be satisfied. This was the one part that I was waiting for the whole arc for. Sure the rest of the manga/Arrancar arc is great, but this is my personal best with my the best Bleach character.

Fuck and the music, damn I love the new soundtrack.

Except for maybe some of the Vizard training moments, Ikkaku's Bankai has been the pinnacle of the arc IMO.

I see I'm not the only one who thinks the Arrancar car is dull. In fact the arc looks like the Author is just pulling stuff out of his ass now. He already screwed up by having Ichigo reach bankai so fast. Bleach should have ended with the Soul Society arc imo.

The japanese ones are so much cooler.

My main issues with the Arrancar arc:

- Throwaway new villians. Outside of Grimmjow, anyway. (Ulq is fucking lame)
- Rukia losing most of what made her a fun character, and becoming another generic sword swinger(and who is quite overpowered).
- Needs more Ikkaku instead of that brat Hitsugaya.
- Grand Fisher went out ridiculously dumb. He and Ichigo needed a conclusive fight; even if Ichigo had obliterated him with ease.

The only things I can really say I liked about the arc so far was keeping Chad, and giving him new abilities, and my aforementioned love of Ikkaku's bankai.

I like GJ a bit more, but I think Ulq is a pretty awesome villain. He's much more interesting than GJ, in my opinion, especially his relationship with Orihime. And I dunno if you keep up with the manga or not, but out of the other Espada that have been shown a few are cool

I guess his design just irks me.

Plus I love the certain girl you mentioned, so him being such a jack off to her ups my dislike.

Haha, makes sense. I'm hoping he has a totally badass release. Personally, I think he's the #1 Espada and the only Vasteroode of the bunch (except maybe Wonderweiss...I dunno what his deal is but I want to see him again).

BTW, how was the Bount filler arc?

I recently found a great site to watch anime(for a 56ker) and I'm curious how the arc went, since it sounded kind of interesting, plus it had people I'm dying for more of doing stuff(Kenpachi, Soi Fong, etc.). Interested in watching it, since I miss Bleach anime(haven't been able to watch it since around the time Ichigo began to fight Byakuya, which was late 50's early 60's?).

Also, what ep numbers did it compose?

The Bount filler was surprisingly good for filler, Its not blatantly filler like how naruto's filler was, but one can still tell it is filler. Ultimately, I would recommend watching it, unlike Naruto's pissing off of a roof escapade.

Yea I agree. For a filler it was pretty good, but fillers are fillers regardless.

EDIT: I think you will be pleasantly surprised with Bleach, although it's nothing short of a clique story. Fighting was all good too, but that was kind of sporadic till the end.

What's so appealing about bleach? I liked Yu-Yu Hakusho waaaaay better.

Good fights sometimes, cool abilities/source of power. They use swords/weapons that can evolve and change their fighting style entirely. No children (16 I think is the youngest except Yochiru or whatever her name is).

Pretty damn gritty storyline that can be really good sometimes, and nice music and art style (though the quality of both can lack sometimes).

Filler sucks a lot, and so do stupid villains/abilities.
