BEAUTIFUL BEAN FOOTAGE
I'm curious to know your guys' favorite books of cook. If you feel like posting why you like them, please do.

I tend to enjoy the "Company's Coming" cookbooks, simply because the recipes are fast. They are good when I am in the mood to just whip something up, and don't want to create something myself.
The President
Old school Better Crocker Cookbook.

I have a really old cookbook of vegetarian Italian recipies. I don't really need them but it's still cool.
I like the vegan/vegetarian cookbooks that are geared toward students. I have one or two like that.

I've always just used my mom's recipe box and the internet for ideas. I suppose I'll buy a good one when I get my first apartment.

The lady who wrote company's coming used to be a family friend.

Pretty much everyone she was ever friend with hates her. She stole her church's, friend's and family's recipes, and published them without giving proper credit. She screwed both my baba's that way lol. She's quite crafty, offering to help cater church functions like weddings and hall parties, then publishing all the recipes.

Okay anyways, pfft to company's coming. My fave book is 30-Minute Meals.

I made the mistake of buying my Baba(mom's mom) a Company's Coming cookbook... harsh words were uttered and the story was learned. Baba is old, so I thought she might be making it up. So I asked my parents, and my dad informed me Ms. Jean Paree was from his town, and that she also screwed over my other baba (his mom).
