This hub vs chat thing has been all in good fun for a long time, but now that the community has boiled down to hubgoers, chat people, and peripheral friendships of both, I can easily see this either becoming one of those non-funny fads that people get really sick of, or worse. I propose a nonaggression pact by both sides. Discussion about either is fine, but not arguing about which is better.
It's clear that since both have been established for so long, two main groups of friends have emerged. We've all gotten used to whatever group we happen to be a part of. In the interests of the greater community, though, I think it might be best if we not argue over which has the better people or the better communication medium. I know, I'm as guilty as anyone, but I'm willing to stop, too.
Then there's also the possibility that I've gone crazy and don't have any idea what I'm talking about.
