Ok. What's going on with the celeb breakdowns and crap going on? I understand that we are all human, but whereas it used to be "Drugs-Rehab-Apology-work", then "Alcohol-rehab-apology-work" and for females use Anorexia in there, now it's RACISM? I mean, I don't want to think of all these as some sort of trend, but damned if that's not what it feels like. Even with Katrina, you had Kanye using racist comments, and it's been pretty constant.

What's going on here?

I think it's pretty much just that they're people like everybody else. But they have people watching them like twenty hours a day, so we find out shit about them. Not to mention the fact that always being in the spotlight must wear thin immediately.

And they've got more money, so all the bad things that normal people can't do (cocaine being the only thing I'm actually thinking of) aren't too hard for them.

There are a surprising amount of racist people.

Plus the whole Kramer thing, I don't know. I think he mostly just wanted to alienate them, and he was really pissed off. Plus he's an overthetop guy. I don't know that he's actually racist. I thought it was funny how when I saw it on the news they said something like "But then he went off on a racist tirade, and the laughter stopped." when in reality a lot of people were laughing throughout. The Letterman thing, from both him and Seinfeld, made me think it was a mistake.

Racism has been around always, I mean look at Mel Gibson, Kanye, Kramer, it's always going to happen with everybody.

I think he knows that, I think his question is more, "Why is it going on now?"

Well today with all the media wanting everything PC, it's going to be made into a bigger deal. I mean if this shit happened in the 40s or 50s, people would laugh about it.

Who cares about a little prejuidice? It's going to happen. It's human. As long as we don't let it control the way we function, it's acceptable.

Kanye doesn't hate white people per-say, he just needed one to blame and the President was the best candidate. Had he been more informed he probably would've name-dropped that guy that ran FEMA.

Kramer doesn't hate black people, he just said the worst thing he could come up with to a black dude who was heckling him. I really don't think he's racist. I think he's bipolar.

Kanye, possibly a racist. He does things that confuse me.

Mel Gibson - DEFINITELY a racist.

Now that I doubt. The difference is that stuff like this would of never been found out in the first place.
