Just found out from my really short friend..


..whom you may remember got a ridiculously large back tattoo...


..that her cool tattoo artist(one of the most tattooed men in the world)..


..died on the 27th. Her mother read about it in the local paper. No word yet on the cause of death(I call ink poisoning), but we may be going to the funeral tomorrow which will probably be a mob scene.

RIP Randy. May you tattoo the angels now.

Damn, that's some shit. Hope his death was non-tatoo related, it sucks when people die because of their passions.

I doubt it was. To be honest I don't have a clue what it could be because I don't recall the guy being a heavy drinker or anything. I guess we'll find out.

Shit, I just found out that my boss died while he was in Bali on a holiday. He got hit by a bus.

My favorite patient at work died over Christmas...he was awesome. He was like a crazy leprachuan with huge sideburns. I never talked to him, but he made me smile.

And the patient with the best name ever died too...but I can't tell you his name. Sorry.

Last year was the year of deaths for me. Two kids in my class died and three of my friends had siblings that died. Just recently another friend's sibling died. I hope mine doesn't T_T

EDIT: I can't believe I missed it. There were several things I thought were odd. Why would her mother find out about her death in the paper? Why would Jess be so insensitive to her friend with the ink poisoning remark? And who names their daughter Randy? Oh well, I woke up an hour ago and thought it was morning for at least five minutes.

Lol. Sorry about that. Guess I didn't realize that people would look at it that way. No, Shortround isn't dead. If she was I'd probably be really sad. Nothing would be the same without my leaning post. I just posted the pictures to refresh memories. It has been a while since I posted about her getting the tattoo.

I just got off the phone with my mom. My uncle Ray died. He was my dad's only brother with the same parents. It isn't too shocking. He had been in bad health and was an alcoholic. Still kind of a surprise.

Crazy. Small world. He was a model for my friend Michelle's company, Illustrated Kings, a website and model portfolio for tattooed men. She posted about this yesterday I think. That's pretty sad...

He's done a whole lot of stuff. I'm wondering now who's going to take over his shop. There are three shops in total that were owned by him and his then wife(she's the one who taught him everything she knew about tattooing). When they split up he gave her the smaller two. I don't think he had any business partners except her. My mother gets her tattoos from his ex.
