So for the two current AFC Wildcards (Denver and NYJ), one is playing the 49ers and the other the Raiders

That last spot in the NFC is going to be hell.

As I explained to my friends, Green Bay can't win their way into the playoffs. Mainly because Green Bay can't win in general, but we can't get into the playoffs by winning. We need our opponents to lose. Look at the games the Packers have allegedly 'won' this season. Did they win, or did they suck marginally less than their opponents? This is one of those incidents where half the starters would be benched for safety, and the second string would have eaten bad Chinese before the game.

We've thrown away plenty of games ourselves. *coughbuffalost.louiscough*

Go giants....
Sounds like a broken record now, it's like they don't want to win anymore. Flashes of brilliance within seconds during their first drive then shit shit shit like always each game.

Packers aren't making it to the playoffs if it comes down to SOV. They beat really bad teams this year. They just gotta pray.

They should have won that Seattle game, they would have been set if they had.

Thats because the team is a full of loudmouth idiots who spend more time badmouthing each other and their coach and talking about how they are going to play and not doing it. Michael Strahan really needs to shut the fuck up, he's spent most of the season sitting on his ass. They come off as a whole team of locker room cancer.

Man, that win was sweet.
Now this isn't coming from just someone who doesn't like the Bears, but I don't see them even making the Super Bowl this year. The defense that everyone talked about earlier this year really hasn't been that good, and now they're left with two quarterbacks who don't have any postseason experience and really aren't that good. If they run into a team like New Orleans or Philadelphia I'd say they get beat.
Who knows though, the NFC has been so inconsistent this year the Bears are probably still the favorites. Oh yeah, and the officiating in that SF/Denver game was terrible.

Smith really blew it with Griese, when they got their play off bye they should have given him alot more playing time to get ready to play in Grossman's place if Grossman blew up which he seems to be making a habit out of. No one can expect him to be ready for anything with just a half a game of play under his belt with the first string. They really should have given them previous game and this one
Grossman is a total head case if there ever was one. Once their defense started faltering in the past few weeks it was kind of obvious that they weren't going to get very far in the play offs.
