Eh, if you don't like going to the symphony and/or opera (don't say that it's too expensive, the best seats' student price is only a few bucks more than going to the movies) and you don't read books set in the past 300 years or so, then there's no reason to know what they're called. If we are seriously to make a list of what we got, I think I might give the topic a heart attack. I have NEVER received so much for Christmas. It's crazy. I couldn't get it all up the stairs in just one trip. That's probably normal for some people, but I'm used to a few CDs or a couple games or...well, one time when I was 14 or so, my mom bought herself an exercise machine and then had no money, so she said it was for both of us for Christmas because I'm fat.

I'm probably leaving things out, but it's not the stuff that matters to me, though I guess it is pretty cool to get a bunch of fun presents. I got my very first present from Santa (ever), which was funny. Beth spoiled me because I'm a girl and I'm new to the family, my mother spoiled me because this was my first Christmas away from home, Nate spoiled me (and I'm not sure why), I just started talking to my Dad so his was my first Christmas present from him. Usually I feel pretty guilty over just a few Christmas presents, so the guilt is pretty intense now, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it.


My god...long post. Also, I like weird DVDs.

Why don't I get anything good? I get crap you'd find in a pharmacy from "Santa." My family is poorish...but I have so many people who consider me a friend and know this. Yet they give me nothing. It's not really a matter of what I get, just a sign of some kind of appreciation.

Well technically I don't get the chickens and chickens training but am pretty happy about the gift. A Kenyan family gets four chickens and training in how to care for them so they can use them to feed themselves. A friend and I agreed to buy each other charity gifts. I got her and her husband a market stall in India I think it was.

I must be getting old, my parents have stopped getting me any real presents. I got them speakers dvds and music and they got me some boxers. I miss being a kid and getting big fancy presents.

I don't think I ever got presents like the stuff people seem to be getting in this list. There was a couple of large presents bought when I was a kid but they always had to be shared with my sister. The buying is a bit scary now. It feels like a competition. Though this getting old thing is a bit scary. I have been banned now from answering the what would you like question with replies like socks.

Same here, with the exception of this year. Presents were never a big thing for my family because my mom loves Jesus and not Santa Claus. I got more this Christmas than I've gotten on all of my Christmases combined. It was very strange for me.

I got about 20 DVDs. Some include Brick, Ace Ventura 1&2, Leon the Professional, Fight Club, 28 Days Later, Mallrats, Clerks 1 & 2, Good Night and Good Luck, and some others.

Other then that, I got the Arkham Asylum and Spider-Man: The Other tradebacks.
