If we are seriously to make a list of what we got, I think I might give the topic a heart attack. I have NEVER received so much for Christmas. It's crazy. I couldn't get it all up the stairs in just one trip. That's probably normal for some people, but I'm used to a few CDs or a couple games or...well, one time when I was 14 or so, my mom bought herself an exercise machine and then had no money, so she said it was for both of us for Christmas because I'm fat.
Anyway...list that no one will read.
From Nate's mom (aka Santa, as that's how she signed all the gift tags):
-Super Princess Peach [DS game]
-Shawl (black)
-Turtleneck (dark brown, light brown)
-Sweater (cream-colored)
-Two long-sleeved shirts (one black, the other brown)
-Stationery/envelopes/pen
-Notebook/date book/pen
-Gloves
-Socks
-Dinosaur cookie cutters
-Blank CDs
-A book full of silly questions and answers about cats (actually given to both Nate and myself)
From my mom:
-2 GB SanDisk Sansa c100 MP3 Player (I wanted 2 gigs, by the way, as it would be fun to have a million songs on my MP3 player, but not necessary)
-Biosilk
-Burt's Beeswax chap stick
-Chicken Poop (also chap stick...I just really like the name)
-The Swan Princess [DVD]
-The Fox and the Hound [DVD]
From my dad:
-Pogo.com subscription
-10 Dell variety puzzle magazines (he's not lame, we just both enjoy doing those puzzles when we're bored)
From Nate:
-Messenger bag
-Wind-up penguin that poops candy
-Crystal candle holder
-3 delicious-smelling candles for said holder
-A little metal sign with a money getting drunk on it (it looks like one of those old-fashioned French posters, but smaller)
-Set of 6 drinking glasses (kind small, probably best used for mixing alcoholic drinks...I found them in a consignment shop and they are awesome)
-The Little Mermaid poster (and he's even going to let me put it up in our room!)
-The Sweetest Thing [DVD]
-Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead [DVD]
-The Majestic [DVD]
-A Little Princess [DVD]
-The Secret Garden [DVD]
-Anastasia [DVD]
Other:
Nana: gift cards/money (I'm not sure which one because they aren't here yet, she just told me about them yesterday...any money will go towards my tattoo fund)
Liz (friend of Nate's family): Scrabble/Sudoku in one box (a Kohl's exclusive! lol)
Bud (Nate's great uncle): 100 bucks
Nate's grandma: Pajamas, a book, and some gelt (lol she's a Jew)
Jesus (speaking of Jews): The game of Life
Merrill Howard Kalin (damnit, Nate): A Pack of gum
Melissa and Dan (our friends here): Still unsure, but I'm thinking maybe a hoodie since Melissa and I talk about them so often and she knows I don't have any good ones.
And after all was said and done, there was another present under the tree. Beth and Jim (Nate's mom and her boyfriend) made a huge deal out of it (like in the movies!), and there was no gift tag, so they said I should open it. I did, and this was inside from Nate:

For those of you that talk to us outside of 404 and like...know us...it's not an engagement ring, so don't go nuts.
I'm probably leaving things out, but it's not the stuff that matters to me, though I guess it is pretty cool to get a bunch of fun presents. I got my very first present from Santa (ever), which was funny. Beth spoiled me because I'm a girl and I'm new to the family, my mother spoiled me because this was my first Christmas away from home, Nate spoiled me (and I'm not sure why), I just started talking to my Dad so his was my first Christmas present from him. Usually I feel pretty guilty over just a few Christmas presents, so the guilt is pretty intense now, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it.
My god...long post. Also, I like weird DVDs.
