Does anyone here know how to keep the play-doh preserved permanently once you sculpt it? I ended up with a crapload of play-doh after a white elephant gift exchange (and believe you me I ended up with one of the better gifts). Anyway I was wondering if I could bake it or let it dry or cover it in nail polish...
Any ideas?

I think you bake it to preserve it, I remember doing such that when I was little.

if you just leave it out, it'll dry, but it gets sort of crusty.

Nail polish (and hairspray) form a weird glaze around things. I've used them to preserve dyed easter eggs and stuff.

So if I wanted to live forever should I just dive into a vat of nail polish?
