Sunday? Generally we have toasted bread with whipped cream cheese, cottage cheese, some form of baloney and water and/or apple juice. Sometimes we have omelets or yellow cheese toasts.
I might pick me up some shawarma if I feel like it.

If I'm at my parents it will be cold ham, prawns and maybe some crab or bugs. I think I will be at my girlfriends parents though, so it will probably be a hot lunch involving every type of meat under the sun.

Same here. I'm trying to start eating meat again, but it's been 9 years, so I'm starting really slow. I had a white bean soup that had been cooked with a ham bone in it and did okay. I don't like meat, but I know that I'll probably be studying in China this summer, and if I don't eat meat then I'll likely starve.

You've never had eggplant?
It's really good if sliced and breaded and fried, or you can make a nice eggplant parmigiana out of it which is probably what I'll be eating. Eggplant rollatini are great, too. As for the taste, I don't know...chicken?

Just kidding...

White bean soup is great either way. I would think China would be a good place to get plenty of tofu and vegetable dishes (maybe Japan would be better?) but now that I think about it it's probably cheaper and easier and more common to eat fish there.

It ended up being:
Some random meat (didn't pay attention)
Ahi tuna steaks (mmmm)
Broccoli casserole
Pineapple Cheese Casserole (my mom makes it every year, for thanksgiving and christmas day. I used to like it, but I can't stand it any more)
Mashed potatoes
Freshly baked bread
Salad
For dessert, there was Apple Rum cake, vanilla ice cream, and Trockenbeeren Auslese from Austria (it's a dessert wine).

Usually I have delicious ham and all that other crap like mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, etc., but this year I picked "other" because we had this cool buffet-style dinner with pretty much everything. There was ham, beef (tenderloin? sirloin? I don't remember), some other beef stuff, and a bunch of side dishes. There was even supposed to be a turkey but that fell through. It was neat.

Every year is ridiculous, only 3 people eat 10 of the dishes, and the rest of us load up on pyrohe and fish lol. When I'm in charge of Christmas dinner, we're having grilled cheese and mac and cheese!! Well maybe not, but at least something normal and edible, like chicken and dumplings or something un-ukr.

I got in late so I just had crackers and dip, but there were these meatballs in a great sauce...but they didn't tell me afterwords that the sweet sauce was ketchup and grape jelly.
