We usually get only one significant snowstorm a year, either in February or January. I don't think I've ever had a White Christmas. Sucks. I love snow and I always wished it snow a lot more here.

Wait wait I'll rub it in some more!
Last night I had 'snow shack' training for my work. (I work for the commutity services/parks & rec division of the City Of Edmonton)
We learned different snowshoeing activities, snow painting, 'kill the snowman challenge', adapting the parachute to snow and snow pictionary. For a few days over winter break I hang out at playgrounds and keep kids out of trouble with my wealth of snow-game knowledge.

It's actually below average here. Normally Christmas day is the hottest day of the year, but lately the temps only been around 27c.

Normally this is the warmest place in the country during the winter so the lack of snow does not suprise me since sometimes when we get no snow and positive temperatures(in celcius) the south of the country is neck deep in snow. But this year it isn't snowing anywhere over here. Bah I better buy a boat because if global warming continues then this city will soon become an archipelago....
