Yeah, I want to buy an NGE DVD boxset, but I have no idea which one I should buy, It seems there are several million types, platinum, ultimate, diamond, renewal, etc.... Which one should I buy the boxset of?

I can't seem to find a website saying whats different between them.

IIRC Platinum is the best one to get in America. Has the later director's cut episodes, and remastered audio and video.

They're also pretty cheap. I remember a while ago you could get the whole platinum series in a thin pack for $50.
